Start growing your own mushrooms

    Tent Setup

  1. Unpack tent and substructure from transport bag
  2. Pull corners of metal tent substructure until fully expanded
  3. Lift tent substructure legs and lock into place using red tabs
  4. Drape tent over substructure
  5. Secure tent into place against the substructure with velcro loops located on the inside
  6. If using outdoors, anchor to the ground with supplied stakes and high-tension line
  7. If using the supplied epoxy-sealed shelving, assemble it and place it inside your pod.

  8. Fan Setup

Please note that you can configure the fan to either be negative or positive pressure depending on your growing environment.
In an outdoor setup we recommend using a positive pressure configuration, with the HEPA filter over the exhaust side of the fan(as indicated by the arrow on the side of the fan) and ducting being used to suck in fresh air from the outside.
In an indoor setup, we recommend the opposite and suggest a negative pressure: Place the HEPA over the intake side, and exhaust the air from inside the tent to the outdoors via a window or door. This will prevent spores from being released indoors.
  9. Place HEPA filter over one side of your fan, and secure it with the supplied duct clamps. Ensure that it is taut over the surface of the fan, and tightly secured within the duct clamp.
  10. Secure the duct to the other side of your fan, and run it to the outside through one side of the zipper door in the back of the pod.

  11. Environment Control System Setup

  12. Fill humidifier and place on a high shelf in the tent.
  13. Place heater and FunGrow Control Unit on a high shelf inside the tent, ensuring that they are not directly underneath the humidifier.
  14. Connect heater, humidifier, fan, and light(if using one) to the labeled ports on the white FunGrow Control Unit
  15. Place the sensor block as close to the center of your grow tent as possible. There is a hook in the center you can use to hang the sensor block from.
  16. Plug in the power cords to FunGrow Control Unit and Sensor Block. You will hear a clicking sound indicating that the two units are paired.

  17. Software Setup

  18. Open the FunGrow app on your smartphone and click the Add Pod button. Then you can scan for available pods.
  19. Once you finish adding the new device, it is ready to use! Set your growing parameters and watch magic happen.
  20. Please note that FunGrow requires 24 hours to self-calibrate to your environment before giving completely accurate results.
